With the victory, Mumford improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Burton (Burton, TX) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Iola will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.
