The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators to 27 in the Yellow Jackets league victory on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pope for a AAAAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Sprayberry will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 49-28 league win over Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-6.
The Gladiators (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Titans come into the AAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Blessed Trinity triumphed over Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA), 39-32, in a non-league contest.
