The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA), 83-52 in Friday's league test.
The Falcons (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors go into the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Columbus was trounced by Hudson (Hudson, IA), 78-39, in a league test.
The Cyclones now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Vinton-Shellsburg for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Denver will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-37 league loss to Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-9.
