The Kenowa Hills Knights basketball team (Grand Rapids, MI), was nudged 56-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI)
The Hawks now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Central for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle on Friday, January 13. Forest Hills Eastern will battle a Cougars team coming off a 69-39 league win over Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors come into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, South Christian edged Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI), 61-29, in a league battle.
