The Wilton Beavers basketball team scored 90 points and held the visiting West Liberty Comets to 50 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.

The Beavers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regina for a River Valley contest on Tuesday, January 17. Wilton will meet a Regals team coming off a 84-48 non-league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Regals record now stands at 9-5.

The Comets (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Tigers enter the River Valley contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Tipton was routed by Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA), 57-52, in a league contest.
