California High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove trounces Elk Grove

The Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) basketball crushed the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA), 58-17 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Wildcats go into the Delta League test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Franklin was trounced by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 48-32, in a league test.

The Thundering Herd now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Sacramento Adventist for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Elk Grove will encounter a Capitals squad coming off a 50-7 league win over Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA). The Capitals record now stands at 9-8.
