In Friday's non-league outing, the Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ), by a margin of 26-15.

The Boilermakers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ). The Crusaders go into the Northwest Jersey - Colonial outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Elmwood Park was beaten by New Milford (New Milford, NJ), 38-30, in a non-league outing.

The Gaels now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wallington for a North Jersey - Meadowlands B outing on Wednesday, January 18.
