Colorado High School Basketball - Montezuma-Cortez ripped by Alamosa

January 14, 2023: Cortez, CO 81321

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Alamosa Mean Moose basketball team scored a decisive 74-30 triumph over the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers.

In their next game, the Mean Moose meet the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 17. Alamosa will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 42-31 non-league win over Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM).

With the defeat, Montezuma-Cortez moves to 3-5 on the year. The Panthers host Centauri (La Jara, CO) to meet the Falcons in a 4A/3A Intermountain match on Friday, January 20. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 9-2. Centauri won 61-17 in their recent league match against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)
