New Jersey High School Basketball - Central Regional knocked off by Point Pleasant Boro

The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Central Regional Golden Eagles to 36 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neptune for a Shore C - North contest on Tuesday, January 17. Point Pleasant Boro will battle a Scarlet Fliers team coming off a 41-30 league loss to Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers record now stands at 2-8.
The Golden Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Hawks enter the Shore B - South contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Manchester Township ran past Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 41-30, in a non-league contest.
