The Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) basketball nipped the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 28-22 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chargers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Warriors go into the test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Western Alamance got by Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 31-16, in a league test.

The Jets now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham Central for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19.
