In Tuesday's non-league test, the Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND) basketball squad defeated the host Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND), by a score of 46-37.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Ellendale will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 66-21 non-league win over North Central (Eureka, SD).
The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Maple Valley (Tower City, ND). The Raiders come into the B District 1 test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Maple Valley overcame Enderlin (Enderlin, ND), 68-23, in a league test.
