Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Louis Catholic holds off Leesville

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Louis Catholic Saints basketball team scored a close 51-50 triumph over the Leesville Wampus Cats.
The Saints (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 16-11 record. In their last contest, JS Clark Leadership Academy was tipped by Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 60-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wampus Cats confront the Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Leesville will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 51-32 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA).
