Texas High School Basketball - Birdville holds off Denton

The Birdville Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Denton Broncos to 58 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grapevine for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28.
With the loss, Denton falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX) to confront the Royals in a game on Friday, January 17. The Royals go into the game with a record of 0-0.
