In Wednesday's league contest, the host Portsmouth West Senators basketball team scored a big 57-17 triumph over the Valley Indians.

The Senators (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Jeeps go into the Southern Ohio III contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, South Webster was trounced by Waverly (Waverly, OH), 70-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) in a Southern Ohio III contest, on Thursday, January 16. Valley will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 70-32 league win over South Webster (South Webster, OH).
