The Sylmar Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Reseda Regents to 48 in the Spartans league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Spartans face the Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA) in a Valley Mission outing, on Friday, January 17. Sylmar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Pythons enter the outing with a 5-6 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA).

The Regents (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Tigers enter the Valley Mission outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, San Fernando was defeated by Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA), 55-36, in a league outing.
