In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Seton Catholic Central Knights basketball team scored a close 25-21 triumph over the Willsboro Central Warriors.

The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY). The Wildcats come into the Section 7 Mountain and Valley II challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Schroon Lake was tipped by Moriah (Port Henry, NY), 48-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Willsboro Central will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 37-13 league loss to Wells (Wells, NY).
