With the victory, Palo Verde Valley upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA) to play the Eagles in a Imperial Valley challenge on Friday, January 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Southwest EC lost 66-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwest SD (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) in a River Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 57-32 league win over Ramona (Riverside, CA).
