The Hancock Bulldogs basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Wright Red Devils to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iron Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Hancock will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 57-34 league loss to Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-7.
The Red Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dollar Bay (Dollar Bay, MI). The Bays enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Dollar Bay was nudged by Wakefield (Wakefield, MI), 54-33, in a non-league contest.
