Missouri High School Basketball - Perryville holds off Valle Catholic

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Perryville Pirates basketball team scored a close 75-69 triumph over the Valle Catholic Warriors.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Herculaneum (Herculaneum, MO). The Black Cats go into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Herculaneum was tipped by DeSoto (DeSoto, MO), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Valle Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 75-57 non-league loss to New Athens (New Athens, IL).
