The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes (Denver, CO) and the visiting Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO), saw Bishop Machebeuf's basketball team nip Dawson School by a tally of 37-34.

The Buffaloes now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Flatirons Academy for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High bout on Saturday, January 18. Bishop Machebeuf will play a Bison team coming off a 68-13 league win over Union Colony Prep (Greeley, CO). The Bison record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Dawson School falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lyons (Lyons, CO) to play the Lions in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Lyons won 46-34 in their recent league bout against Front Range Christian (Littleton, CO)
