Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Catlin Gabel Eagles (Portland, OR), 44-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Horizon Christian upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Lewis & Clark bout on Friday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Westside Christian won 50-37 in their recent league bout against Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Oregon Episcopal Aardvarks (Portland, OR) in a 3A Lewis & Clark bout, on Friday, January 20. Catlin Gabel will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Aardvarks go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 54-36 league win over De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR).
