With the win, Johnson City upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Harper (Harper, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, January 20. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Harper won 57-15 in their recent league bout against Junction (Junction, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, January 20. Center Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Armadillos go into the bout with a 18-9 record after their 29-18 league win over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX).
