Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Martin Clippers (Martin, MI), 49-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Watervliet upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Benton Harbor lost 63-37 in their recent league bout against Brandywine (Niles, MI)

Next up, the Clippers play the Kellogg Panthers (Delton, MI) in a Southwestern - Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 40-26 non-league loss to Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI).
