With the win, Mission upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Eagles host La Joya (La Joya, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 6A Region IV District 31 bout on Friday, January 20. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 10-15. La Joya won 51-35 in their recent league bout against Economedes (Edinburg, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 31 bout, on Friday, January 20. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 23-7 record after their 78-37 league win over Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX).
