Iowa High School Basketball - Nashua-Plainfield ripped by Newman Catholic

The Newman Catholic Knights basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies to 26 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Fork for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Newman Catholic will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 61-26 league win over Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 13-0.
The Huskies (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Panthers enter the Corn Bowl contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Central Springs triumphed over North Butler (Greene, IA), 46-18, in a league contest.
