With the victory, Skidmore-Tynan upgrades its record to 29-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Kenedy (Kenedy, TX) to play the Lions in a 2A Region IV District 31 bout on Friday, January 20. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 9-14. Kenedy won 49-25 in their recent league bout against Refugio (Refugio, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 bout, on Friday, January 20. Three Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 45-44 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX).
