In Wednesday's league outing, the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), by a margin of 66-40.

The Rebels (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats go into the Southwest outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Brookfield was trounced by Weston (Weston, CT), 47-37, in a league outing.

The Red Devils now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host New Milford for a Southwest outing on Friday, January 19. Stratford will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 59-48 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-7.
