USC-MAE Trojans (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA), 39-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, USC-MAE upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Freeway bout on Friday, January 19. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 7-13. Aspire Ollin won 50-40 in their recent league bout against Animo Bunche (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Vipers play the Downtown Magnets Suns (Los Angeles, CA) in a Freeway bout, on Friday, January 19. Orthopaedic will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Suns come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 72-47 league win over Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA).
