The Austin Achieve Polar Bears basketball team (Austin, TX), was overwhelmed 72-3 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX)

The Ducks now possess a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manor New Tech for a 4A Region III District 22 battle on Friday, January 19. Taylor will battle a team coming off a 57-20 league loss to Giddings (Giddings, TX). The record now stands at 9-8.

The Polar Bears (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell (Caldwell, TX). The Hornets come into the 4A Region III District 22 battle with a 7-17 record. In their last battle, Caldwell trounced Smithville (Smithville, TX), 48-47, in a league battle.
