With the win, Avoca Central upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY) to play the Chargers in a Section 5 Steuben 1 bout on Friday, January 19. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Canisteo-Greenwood won 52-22 in their recent league bout against Addison (Addison, NY)

Next up, the Lakers play the Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Hammondsport will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 43-18 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, NY).
