Nevada High School Basketball - Cheyenne ripped by Legacy

January 17, 2024: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

The Legacy Longhorns basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Cheyenne Desert Shields to 34 in the Longhorns league triumph on Wednesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Somerset Academy Losee for a 4A Sky contest on Thursday, January 18. Legacy will battle a Lions team coming off a 71-34 league win over Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Lions record now stands at 13-5.

The Desert Shields (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV). The Sundevils enter the 4A Sky contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Eldorado was routed by Valley (Las Vegas, NV), 65-14, in a league bout.
