In Friday's league contest, the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Del Mar Dons.

The Grizzlies (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Eastside College Prep topped Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA), 75-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dons battle the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Del Mar will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 61-52 league loss to Hill (San Jose, CA).
