Illinois High School Basketball - Faith Christian knocks off Maranatha Christian Academy

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Faith Christian basketball team scored a good 72-54 win over the Maranatha Christian Academy Huskies.

The (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oakhill Christian (Janesville, WI). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Oakhill Christian was topped by Union Grove Christian (Union Grove, WI), 53-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders (Urbana, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Maranatha Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 53-52 non-league win over Homefires (Danville, IL).
