The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) and the host Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA), observed Palo Alto's basketball team overcome Los Altos by a score of 45-36.
The Vikings (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Menlo-Atherton defeated Jefferson (Daly City, CA), 63-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Terra Nova Tigers (Pacifica, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Los Altos will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 68-50 league win over Oceana (Pacifica, CA).
