The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hurley Tigers (Hurley, MO) and the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO), observed Hurley's basketball team overwhelm New Covenant Academy by a score of 59-36.

The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bradleyville (Bradleyville, MO). The Eagles come into the Mark Twain challenge with a 7-6 record.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the McAuley Catholic Warriors (Joplin, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. New Covenant Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
