Lee's Summit North Broncos (Lee's Summit, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS), 59-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee's Summit North upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Broncos travel to Park Hill (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Trojans in a Suburban - Gold bout on Monday, January 23. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Park Hill lost 31-29 in their recent non-league bout against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Shawnee Mission East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 57-23 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).
