Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Erie Royals (Erie, PA) and the visiting General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), saw Erie's basketball squad hold off General McLane by a tally of 39-33.

With the victory, Erie improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Shaler Area lost 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Central Tech Falcons (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. General McLane will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
