Nevada High School Basketball - Rancho can't hold off Western

The Rancho Rams basketball team (Las Vegas, NV), was nudged 49-42 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV)

The Warriors now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Valley for a 4A Mountain battle on Tuesday, January 23. Western will battle a Gators team coming off a 41-35 league loss to Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV). The Gators record now stands at 5-17.

The Rams (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners come into the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Sunrise Mountain edged Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV), 48-29, in a league battle.
