The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), observed Salisbury's basketball team edge Dudley by a margin of 68-66.

The Hornets (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Queen City Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Kings come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Queen City Prep was tipped by Bull City Prep National (Charlotte, NC), 92-72, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a 3A Mid-State challenge, on Friday, January 24. Dudley will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 72-50 league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
