In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Andrew's Cardinals basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions.
The Cardinals (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE). The Hillers go into the Independent Schools contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Tower Hill was topped by Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 55-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Red Lion Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 55-36 non-league win over Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE).
