The St. John the Baptist Cougars basketball squad (West Islip, NY), was crushed 72-23 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY)
With the victory, William Floyd advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Colonials travel to Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY) to meet the Raiders in a Section 11 AAA-1 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 0-3.
The Cougars now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity for a Catholic - Long Island battle on Tuesday, February 4.
