Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka thwarts Champlin Park

The Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) basketball knocked off the host Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN), 75-64 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars go into the AAAA Section 7 test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Centennial went down by Andover (Andover, MN), 86-52, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wayzata for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Champlin Park will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 68-57 non-league win over Edina (Edina, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-3.
