Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) and the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), saw West Essex's basketball squad overcome Bloomfield by a tally of 46-37.

With the victory, West Essex improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Wayne Valley lost 50-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ)

Next up, the Bengals confront the Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Bloomfield will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
