The Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) basketball crushed the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 58-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats go into the Capital test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Armstrong was trounced by Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 48-39, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Mechanicsville for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. J.R. Tucker will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 58-35 league win over Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-2.
