The Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) basketball felled the visiting Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), 78-60 in Friday's league test.
The Mustangs (15-6) will now prepare for their test against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, De La Salle thwarted Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL), 88-48, in a league test.
The Argonauts now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Lisle for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Argo will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 55-46 league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Lions record now stands at 9-10.
