The Mattanawcook Lynx basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks to 30 in the Lynx league triumph on Friday.

The Lynx now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dexter for a C North contest on Monday, January 22. Mattanawcook will meet a Tigers team coming off a 46-32 league win over Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 9-1.

The Golden Bucks (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Orono (Orono, ME). The Riots enter the C North contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Orono was routed by Lee Academy (Lee, ME), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
