The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), 58-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Pine Hill walloped Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 56-24, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Maxwell for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Carrizozo will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 56-24 non-league loss to Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM). The Bears record now stands at 2-8.
