The Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) basketball crushed the host Nicolet Knights (Glendale, WI), 78-50 in Friday's league test.

The Highlanders (12-4) will now prepare for their test against West Bend West (West Bend, WI). The Spartans go into the North Shore test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, West Bend West was trounced by West Allis Hale (West Allis, WI), 44-36, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Port Washington for a North Shore test on Friday, January 26. Nicolet will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 53-47 league loss to Slinger (Slinger, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.
