With the win, Saint Mary's upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Panthers host St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA) to clash with the Bruins in a Tri-County - Rock bout on Friday, January 5. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 8-3. St. Patrick-St. Vincent won 56-54 in their recent league bout against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County - Stone bout, on Thursday, January 4. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Oilers go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 75-13 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, CA).
