The Trinity Christian Lions basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats to 38 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 1 contest on Thursday, January 4. Trinity Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Whitharral (Whitharral, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-10.

The Bobcats (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Burkburnett prevailed over Decatur (Decatur, TX), 71-62, in a non-league contest.
